EICHER (Mk2) INSPIRED RETRO MOBILE HOMES

At Habitat Mobile Homes Ltd, we could't resist the request to update our design range inspired by the work of Joseph Eichler. For our Mk2 collections we've designed a range of mobile homes and lodges that are modern, stylish but have a retro inspired feel to each design. Our homes incorporate materials like bleached oak cladding and white render with floor to ceiling windows and doors. Let’s take a look at what makes these lodges so special.

Joseph Eichler was a real estate developer and builder active in the mid-20th century, primarily in California. He is best known for his development of residential neighborhoods that featured modernist architecture, which is characterized by an emphasis on simplicity, functionality, and the use of new materials and building techniques. Eichler's homes were notable for their open floor plans, walls of glass, and integration with the outdoors. Eichler's mission was to make modernist homes available to the middle class, and he was able to achieve this by using mass-production techniques and working with architects who shared his vision. Eichler's developments and homes have been widely admired and continue to be sought after by homeowners today.

One thing that makes these mobile homes and lodges special is our selection of materials. We chose bleached oak cladding because it has a timeless beauty that will never go out of style. It is also incredibly durable, making it perfect for outdoor structures like these mobile homes and lodges. In addition, we added white render that adds texture to the exterior walls while providing a traditional look that evokes feelings of nostalgia—a key element from Eichler’s work that we wanted to capture.

To top it off, we included floor-to-ceiling windows and doors that allow natural light to flood into the interior spaces while also providing stunning views of your surroundings. This combination creates a unique experience where you can relax in comfort while feeling connected to nature at all times – something we think Joseph Eichler would be proud of!

These mobile homes and lodges have an aesthetic appeal that is both modern yet timelessly classic – something truly special! The combination of bleached oak cladding, white render, large windows and doors provide an elegant look inside and out; perfect for those who want their lodging experience to feel luxurious yet still practical enough for daily life on the road or in nature's backyard! Plus, with its clean lines and minimalistic design elements, this range offers a stylish alternative for those who are looking for a contemporary design without compromising on quality or comfortability!
